The Spirit Assisting

This is a piece written by an rank Calvinist that has blessed me encouraged me and brought me to tears (which isn't hard). Please please please take some time and read it. Seriously. Pick a quiet morning, do your devotion, then come read this. Its like 4.5 pages printed out so i'm sure you can handle it.
Well on another note we lost a family member yesterday. Our beloved male beagle Bandon (Goobie) was hit by a car on the road. I was listening to music on the way to work yesterday and this song called "pastures new" came up and its just so sweet and somber it reminded me of how much we're all gonna miss him. I put together a collection of the pictures I have of him and embeded the song I was listening to so take a minute and remember the best little buddy on 4 legs any of us ever had. If you've got a favorite memory (or several) post them to comments, I'll go first.

We took Goob blue berry picking last fall. and he was just a little shorter than the bushes, so when he'd run though them eating as fast as he could all you could see was his little tail sticking straight up. Elliot would yell "hunt em up, goober!" and whip him into a frenzy.
I also loved how he'd come snuggle with me no matter how mad aimee was at me, haha what a little traitor.
I loved his all out scamper, he looked like he was running like and eagle was chasing him.
I loved his beagle bay and how he was all ears (especially during his scamper)
I remember having to carry him across the river last summer at the cabin and how he tried to swim back to get to us cause we took too long crossing.
*Lord I know he was just a dog but thank you for him all the same*
My Favorite memory was when we first got him and he was a puppy. I would come home every day and have a warm adorable puppy to cuddle with....I loved it sooo......it does not get much better then that....*sigh*....I love you my little goobie =o}
I don't have very many memories of Goobie but I do remember the time he was at our house and he just wondered over and casually peed on one the the corners up stairs. I also remember how much he loved to chase the birds on the beach.
