At the Hospital

As the title implise I'm posting from the hospital, its just after midnight and my shift isn't yet half over. Working long hours is kinda nice, you have a totaly different state of mind. you don't even look at the clock because you know you're not getting of any time this century so you just hang out and do your job till its time to not do it anymore.

Black Friday was fun. I got to play "Butler" (Omidous, over muscled body guard) for Krista and Jockles when Jordan threatened to make them go into walmart while he went to lowes. Jock couldn't find somting so he had me go ask for it. the second time he couldn't find somthing I made him do it. It was pretty cute, he's such a little Gene, I can't ever get his goat. Probably has somthing to do with him secretly being more mature than me, oh well.

The reason I have so much time to post is that the guy I'm working with is the House Float today which means we don't take a patient we just help other people with theirs. I've done 2 admissions to the medical floor so far and I'm sure I'll do more. Seems like every time we might get an admition to our unit they end up going home.

I was looking at my layout and thinking that my little samurai guy looks really cool. I love how the handle on his sword is so long to me that makes him look all that much more skilled an focused. The handle represents control to me in a sword. Oriental people are interesting, Despite being pretty lazy I can absolutely see the appeal in devoting yourself to one cause. As i've said earlier if I could use one word to describe my life it would be distracted, one adjective would be easily.

What's funny is that it doesn't seem to matter to them what you do just that you do it well. Like there's that chinese gut who wins all those hotdog eating contests. Then there's those monks who are the best in the world at doing nothing, they just sit there and meditate all day. They get nothing done but man are they committed.

The armor that the samurais wore was really cool, I love how its all wicker and woven, its very unique from other ancient peoples. Then there's the scary masks they use, If you're going to go into battle you may as well dress like you mean it.









Then there's this guys work, He actualy live in Ninilchik, I guess Noah knows his or somthing. His stuff is pretty cool too.

Obamanation

I read this in my bible this morning. I know I don't fully understand the implications, but really none of us do. All I know is that I won't be suprised. Don't forget that the king of kings has not been replaced and that rulers are in his hand.

12 ¶ Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
